Just a thought Zombieslayer, Have you checked your DAC report? I believe that's what its called. I've heard that some companies may put something bad on there about the experience's they have with drivers. If you dumped someones truck somewhere because you got mad and quit or something like that, can make it very hard to get a job somewhere else. You say your from Arkansas, what about SRT? I've thought of checking in with them someday. They seem to be a good company with nice equipment. I live in Spokane, WA and value my home-time too. Different Strokes for Different Folks.. Good Luck my friend.
zombieslayer Thanks this. -
Don't let 'em win, Zombie!
You are as entitled to your observations as well as anyone else. Please understand that among those that disagree with you, there are "professional" (for lack of a better term) bloggers, paid or otherwise, whose only purpose is to defend against any critical comments in regards to company policies, true or not. -
You know what it is,you have too much exp. There are companies that won't hire just for that reason.Forget Gordon and try somewhere else.Sounds likes you have a pretty good record.Oh and welcome to the forum.

Actually, that's where I am now. I have been here since 11/03/2013. Started out strong after a very disorganized and disappointing orientation but, it got busy for a while with 3200 mile weeks back to back for a month and a half or so then Boom! It went dead and has been that way for a while. Now I have run refer a great many years and I know and realize the slow times of the year but man its gotten a bit much. They are also using a new system called "work flow" and I don't care for it that much yet but, I have used the old kind of system for years and I guess it's just a matter of getting used to. If you have a hazmat endorsement then plan on running a good amount of hazmat freight. I know there for a while it was 65/35 for hazmat/refer ratio. Personally, I am going back to ACT when I get a little moula saved up. I liked it there alot, I just let things get away from me, got scared and made a hasty move. Anyways I will quit boring you with my life story. Now back to your regularly scheduled program kids!
