Course is very short to start with, then factor in that you'll be giving up your driving time. Why? Because the folks in the last class didn't pass the driving test and they need more practice. Expect to watch them drive your time away. Plus you'll spend time trapped at the DMV while they retest, learning nothing.

You are legally required to have X amount of time driving in this state. You'll not get it, but you will be able to learn how to fudge your log book to make it look like you did.

Instructors that I dealt with may have been King-Of-The-Road types, but it does not translate into teaching abilities. One "Super Instructor" only elevates his volume when you don't understand something. Never mind rephrasing something or taking another tack.

Minimal time on the skills pad equals poor skills at testing time. All you'll learn to park a rig is "Hard Right!". Until you'll be out in the real world UNLEARNING this technique so you can park your rig without all the over compensation.

The mantra for this course is that you'll learn how to do everything in your training school. Just pass the CDL with us. Well, I am here to tell you that you may not get a decent experience with a training company. I didn't.

In the end, if you get your CDL you'll be one of a few and you'll not have a decent foundation with which to build on.

Well as a native of SC who got the hell out of there all I can say is it's orangeburg. Duh. lol it may be a backward ### state but that's the most backward ### part OF the state. Doesn't surprise me in the least to hear this

I agree with the previous poster who stated if you didn't get what you needed should have done like the others and stuck around into the next classes time.

You know what they say about making assumptions? lol! I got a CDL, where did I say I didn't? I just found the course far more costly than what I thought I should have gotten out of it.

There has to be a better alternative. People deserve to know what they're in for from those who have been through it.

Thank you for the heads up... I had been searching for reviews on their program a while back, and couldn't find any until now.

You live in Orangeburg? Odd, so do I. I go to Orangeburg Wilkinson, didn't know OC TECH had truck driving classes.
