What is your favorite truck stop chain? - T/A, Love's or Pilot/Flying J?

FJ.... they have the best coffee, food variety, and showers imo. So I fuel at TA or Loves and sleep at FJ, because those are my second and third choices.

 

I drive nights so T/A and Petro is out, have to fuel there and don't do roller grill or cooler sandwiches.

 

I like flying J and Pilot. I was a T/A guy but then they forgot to give me my rewards card lost in the mail rice and then about two months later I got rid of it. Petro I do like. Only downer about them is the $20 dollars to park over night but I do like the breakfast buffet I get once a week.

 

I liked Flying J more before Pilot bought them out. Overall I would have to pick Love's because of the free coffee with fuel and reasonably priced showers, $10 VS $15 at TA or Petro.

 

Which ever has a spot or I have a shower for.

 

I like the smaller chains like Sapp Brothers, Sinclair Coffee Cups. If there one of them or an Indy around I will take t/a or Petro above the others.

 

NO!!! We don't need more fast food joints out here, we need fewer.

I hate Pilot and FJ since Pilot took them over. Pilot has ruined many a good truck stop and their employees are some of the most apathetic out here. As others have said, I find it ridiculous that there isn't a dedicated fuel desk. Chaps my hide that I have to wait behind a dozen people buying drinks or lottery tickets just so I can get my receipt and get gone. Four registers - one person tending one register and three others behind the counter doing whatever else. Pilot sucks.
Petro, TA, Loves for fueling. Petro/TA for a place to hang out if laid over. Pilot can suck rocks.

 

TA/Petro for the food (at least it's better than Denny's and Pilot) and because I will never again willingly fuel at the J after they screwed trucking companies out of millions in fuel discounts.

 

I've fueled three times at places other than TA/Petro so far this year. Always will choose them first when I can.

 

Depends on where you are. No TAs ever again. 2 doses of food poisoning was enough. Petros are OK for the most part. Loves are all different. Some are good and right down the road 40 miles another will bite the big bone. Same with Flying J. Most Pilots are garbage as well. But there are exceptions to all. Except TA. They all bite the big bone.
