I voted. The results though have 310 for yes, 245 for no. How can people be so closed minded? sheesh.

 

i know i noticed that....absurd!

 

I can not believe how simpleminded people are

 

Those 245 people need to be paying 8.15 for 1g of milk, 6.25 for a loaf of bread, and 5.00 for 1 roll of thier toilet paper...and then you need to tell them why everything is so expensive.

Many people think of truckers as dirty complainers who make big money
Some of the reports show truckers getting 3 bucks a mile and complaining.
To the average person that run the numbers and think we are making a killing
Thus we don't deserve a better price
Looks like we have some image work also

 

its the people that think trucks are big slugs heading dow the highways, moving slow.
they just said on msnbc that 94% of america has no idea what kind of impact the truckers have on america. they were comparing trucker vs our Army. with out the army america would not be what it is today, with out truckers america would not be what it is today.
i have talked a lot of random people when im out and people are talking about gas prices for there cars trucks and suv's, and then ill jump in and ask them about our american truckers that are struggeling to just get by. and people are shocked to learn how much it cost a trucker to fill up, and how often, then ill fill them in that if the truckers of america stop running for just a few days the kind of impact it would have on this country.
its sad that these big oil companies have the balls that they do to talk about their record breaking profits for this week, when the o/o is on his knees with the bank crying and begging them not to take his home/cars away from him.

 

exactly some o/o demanding 4 dollars a mile this is ridiculous...if id be making 2 dollars a mile on all my miles i would be filthy rich....asking for $4 a mile?? thats just greedy
