Did you say your KLLM payment was $400/wk? Did you have a balloon payment at the end of the term?

I'm just doing the math to see if the couple hundred less you're getting in settlements weekly balances out with a $1 last payment vs. a large balloon at the end. IMO the balloon would make me more likely to just turn in the truck at the end, in essence make the payments and pay for all the repairs of a company truck. With $1 buyout I'd take that asset and 1. Run it until the wheels fall off 2. Sell it for market value and start another lease 3. Take it elsewhere.

 

Well I made my 1st of 6 drops in and around LA. The first one yanked 5 pallets and was done in less than 20 mins. Got to 2nd drop and I had to wait for 2 hours for a dock and now have been at dock for 45 mins and still not a single pallet has come off yet. Oh this is gonna be a long ### day.

 

Yesterday evening I saw a JCT truck heading west on I-40. I waved as I went by so if it was anyone from this site I did wave.

 

Just wanted to jump in and say hello to everybody. Spent the last week at home recovering from a planned minor surgery. So I'm back on the road currently in Dodge city on my way to Victorville,ca. I hope everybody has been well.

Sitting at the J in Tucumcari, NM. Leaving out at Midnight CDT for Ft. Worth. Have already been told that I might not have a load to get home from DFW and would have to deadhead home from there.
