If you're a small mom and pop shop, word of mouth I think is the best way to retain a veteran. A more favorable driver IMO would be one that lives close to the shop to make home time arrangements easier.

There are many sites you may use, starting with this one, which has a great job search area.scroll down the left side of the forum page to the link then add as much information as you can about the position. Type of work, equipment, earnings, and remember to add your phone number! Best of Luck! !

Where are you located? Where do you want the driver to be based out of? What are you running, what endorsements do you require, etc? My husband is an experienced driver and starting to look for another company but you will need to pay him more than where he's at and he has a clean record as well.
