Hey Guys! Looking For Some Clarification. I Keep Hearing PRIME Pays New Reefer Drivers .39Cpm Then I Hear .42Cpm From Others. Which Is It?

 

42-cpm!!! Anyone who tells you 39 is either a simpleton, or a moron who doesn't check their settlements!

That depends on the division you're getting into as well. 42-cpm (37 base rate, plus 5-cpm for the lightweight tractor) is starting for a solo reefer driver in a lightweight tractor. Can't say what it is for flatbed, but if that is where you're headed, it could very well be 39-cpm.

 

PSD starts with a ride on the dog which feels like it takes a decade, but culminates in a week long class and orientation schedule.

If there are adequate instructors, at the end of your first week, you're picked up and begin your on the road portion, which takes anywhere from three to five weeks. Right now, it's on the longer end due to examiner backlog.

Most PSD students are in TNT about a month and a half to two months after leaving home. Some are quicker, many are not.

(See my Bio) I was going to go with Knight but thought to give Prime another thought and look and right now Prime IMO is the best in the business for new drivers am that's where I'm going g as of today I the Recruiter would eer call me back. If you have $$$ socked up ahead of time you could easily get by without having to take the loans. PSD phase can take as little as a couple if weeks or up to a month. I myself was out for a month but we also spent a while practicing backing maneuvers and also my instructor had to take home time for personal business.

 

I have a question regarding piercings at prime. Are any facial piercings allowed during training or best to take them out? I'm talking snake bites(bottom lip one on each side) and my eyebrow, Nothing real over the top crazy. Thanks in advance!
