Just graduated from Future Truckers of America in Ashboro NC

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to post and mention that I finished yesterday, got my 20 day cdl license and the permanent license will be in the mail soon. Overall it was a really good experience. If anyone has any questions about the school please don't hesitate to PM me. As with many things in life, a large portion of what you get out of it, depends on what you put into it. Our class started with about 14 students, mostly PAM and USA Trucking recruits. Myself and one other were the only pay students. We finished with about 10 students. PAM, it appears, drops a lot of students. At any time there are about 50 students since they start a new class every Monday. The instructors at the school were all professional and very knowledgeable. The first week consisted of Drug tests, lectures and videos, Second and third week was backing and pretrips. Fourth week was testing and driving. The tests are administered by certified instructors at the school. There are changes that could be made that would benefit students and help with the learning curve but I only mentioned one since in my experience, recommendations and criticisms from students are rarely appreciated.

Lets see. TMC, Western Express, C&T Transport, Werner. There might have been one other but I cant recall. 90% of the students will be going with PAM or USA Trucking. Dont hesitate to ask if you have any other questions.
