Truckers Stop Trucking for 'April Fuel's Day'

There were 4 of from the local in Harrisburg PA monday - there was an open forum by the penna trucking assoc. - only 9 guys were in attendance - 7 were union freight haulers like me - and 2 were trash hauler OO's

we saw 5 trucks downtown all day...


3 were bobtail trashhaulers owned by Kyle Millisevic from stroudsburg penna.

CBN reported a "convoy"

What was the video I saw on this site, of all the trucks going up into Harrisburg, was that staged?

 

I can not figure that one out - we were right downtown at the forum which was in the capital building -

room 112A I believe - we came out and returned to our cars and drove back to carlise that afternoon...

anyone know the time frame???

our meeting was 9-noon monday...

maybe the video was shot later.

 

Man - I don't think so... - I am a bit confused now since when we left we saw nothing but the usual traffic all the way to the river and across and back to route 11.


on a side not - the irony here was all the guys running "as normal" with red ribbons on their CB antennae!


that is kinda like saying "we support our troops - but we also like to give AL queda donations too!"

 

wow... watched about 5 videos..

two were listed as "9am" - weird.



we left the building at 12:09 (just looked at what time I called wife on cell)

I know there was a lot of radio buzz and talk but I for one did not see this kinda turnout.

(twilight zone again I suppose)

 

I was in Bayshore new york (long island) on 9/11...

slept right through it.
(super fly comfy sleeper cap with diesel purr putting me to sleep..)

woke up about 6pm and noticed a lot of traffic going towards jersey...

got within 2 miles of GW bridge before I turned my CB on...



22 hours later I was in jersey...

man they did all but strip search us that day...



well anyway - glad to see the videos of the guys in harrisburg...

wish more drivers were present at the forum - we had 2 local press members there joting down notes - but I think they would have been better set to gain info by having the forum at the petro in carlisle.
