Um... neither? For a noob, you may want to consider going to Roehl. My attitude toward them is not good, BUT they were always respectful face to face and over the phone and their focus on safety has value. They would much rather pay a penalty or lose a bonus or some such and park, than have you smash their truck and spread a load all over the road. I just wish the paychecks hadn't sucked so bad, I'd still be there if they hadn't. Thing with starter companies is this: Get your feet wet for a year or two, once you notice your miles start to drop off, move on to greener pastures. Don't sit and complain about this sad fact of trucking life like I did at Marten. When they fired me for my complaints about the lack of miles, pay, and home time, I couldn't get a job delivering newspapers for over a year, let alone freight. Mid 2009 to mid 2010 sucked.

    Maxter,

Roehl is hiring flatbed drivers in Bradenton area. Just checked on their website. I would go with Werner and hope you get a good trainer.
