In December i had my trk in shop for a scheduled exhaust filter cleaning. In that process a sensor and clamp was broken. Cost me 2800 to replace Doc.Month later truck wouldnt regen properly cost me another 300 for dozier clean kit. Well that didnt work apartly im broke down my filter is already 90% clogged. And they dont know yet why . Not sure what this is gonna cost but its frustrating your trk runs good then it takes a dump on a schefuled clesning. Looks like im down but not out of it yet. For at least another day.

If you don't have a few thousand $$ put away... you should not be leasing. Unless you plan on driving hard first few months with only maybe a day or two off a month.

Well like I said before...it's not for many people and 80-90% of people that are thinking of leasing or that are leasing...shouldn't be.

I read somewhere (but now can't find it. . Think I googled manual regen) the reason for multiple failures of the DPF is due to coolant ingestion.

Problem is. . The technicians see the DPF code/failure and just throw parts instead of finding the root cause and repairing that also. Then, just like you're experiencing. . You are right back in the shop.

Get Richie (head of maintenance at ACT) involved. . He was a shop foreman at KW before coming to ACT. Very intelligent and has A LOT of influence monetarily and warranty wise.
