New horizons with Holland Enterprises (Fargo,ND)

Checked on moving to Vegas...one disturbing sentence...when you go to dmv to transfer your cdl they punch a hole in your existing license and MAIL you your new license...website said it usually takes 7 to 10 days to receive your new license. I have never heard such a thing. Surely this is a typo ( I hope) or I am not moving to Nevada! Crazy

 

read it was 33 to 36 cpm base... with bonuses available....awaiting my orientation date

 

It is true. They punch your CDL and also give you a paper valid for 30 days in case the cops pull you over. I live in Vegas and never had a problem. The new license arrived in the mail just fine.

MN clips the corner of your license and gives you a huge wad of paper to carry until your new license comes in the mail.

 

Texas cuts the top of the license off and also gives you the big papers to carry around. All that just because I moved and had to change my address.....

 

I've had CDL's in three states, they all do something like this. Some keep it, some punch it and some cut it.

 

New Jersey keeps your old one give you new one on the spot.

 

I live in Fresno, CA and will be coming on board in about 3 weeks after I heal from knee surgery tomorrow.
