Beats sleeping on a board between the two seats but yah, I know what you mean. Truck was in Madison shop for the 2nd time in the same number of weeks for on guard alignment. Although they did offer to put me up in a hotel overnight, im so used to the sleeper, I actually sleep better in it than at home or hotel. I declined and slept on the couch in the liars lounge. Are you one of the drivers on the dedicated account with the daycabs and conastogas? Saw a bunch of them on I79 last week and was wondering what account and what products you hauled. My student at the time asked and I took an educated guess at lumber mainly but coils as well. Hope they get you rolling soon.

We are the Weyerhauser WV account. We haul from the Weyerhauser off I79 exit 67 in Heaters to different lumber stores in the surrounding area. We exclusively haul osb board. My 7th week at Maverick and I love it. I know breakdowns are gonna happen. Theyre saying my shift module is sticking in gear not letting it start. Supposed to be done Monday. Im home now. Wife came and got me for the weekend. Hopefully its done Monday. Id rather be truckin than sittin around.

At the house till Friday...just got my truck...not a fresh off the trainer truck guy...been at it a while, but man the training at Maverick is second to none...they make it soooo much easier than the guys in black and chrome...and I didn't work there but for like 4 weeks....so glad I made this move and as far as I'm concerned my last...

Must be something with the Weyerhaeuser accounts! I am on a different one. My truck got stuck in nuetral a few weeks ago and had to be towed. Freightliner replaced the ecm and that fixed it....until yesterday. Now sometimes when I try to start it even though it says it is in neutral, it won't start. I have to move the gear selector several times to get it to finally engage. And people still insist that they are just like a manual transmission minus the clutch! I will say that this is really the first mechanical issue I have had with this truck in a year and a half....it has 285,xxx miles on it now.
