I'm thinking about accepting a position working at/around Fairview. Looks like a real thriving metropolis...Ahhh maybe not.
Anyone working around the area with input? I'd appreciate it. My brother is laughing his buns off after we saw what the 2010 census was....but that was then, I'm thinking.
Thanks![]()

Yeah. Fairview what?? TX. S Dakota? CA???

Kinda answering my questions...Fairview N.D./MT. Seems the town is split on the border, mostly in Montana. Why would I go to Montana on purpose I'm thinking. About 35 miles from Williston.
-
To make money.... thats the exact and only reason that anybody is out the middle of nowhere to work in the oilfields.
-
From what a friend that was in ND told me, he said it seems like a lot of the drilling has gone to eastern Montana
-
There is drilling going on all over there on both sides of the state line. More in ND at the moment but it is expanding rapidly. Williston and Watford City are the two largest towns with Williston being the biggest. Fast food in that part of the country consists of live antelope. Not many amenities.

Yep...was just making sure we have gas, beer, 'n groceries out there. Ulm corp to be specific. where are they hauling the crude to??
Thanx
