They done that to me sometimes, if I had nothing planned, I'd take the load and change my home time til after that.

The tax people called today, good news for the non working people reading. I'm paying a lot in taxes this year.

Occasionally they would try to tempt me with long loads that if I took them, I would not get home on time. I just tell them I will take it so far, then t-call it and they will need to get me home. They either did as I requested, or took the load away and gave me something toward home.

I'm a morning person. I like getting up early and hitting the road. but since I had to start so late yesterday due to del appt. I had to run until 2315 last night. Now I'm sitting here wanting to go but have to wait till 0930:biggrin_25511:

Now I'm going into Bentonville late and there's nothing to park at around there.

I just delivered here in Denver, much to the surprise of the customer.

"We weren't looking for you til Monday! But we will take ya now!"

    Phew!

Fact is, Crete told them the load wouldn't be picked up until today. I'm not sure what is going on in Lincoln, but I don't like the trend. Admittedly, it seems to come and go....getting ready to head over to Golden and grab a load for SLC.

Nothin' personal...I hope it works out for ya. But since the last time I pulled containers in 2001, the quality (overall) of those drivers and trucks pulling those things has plummeted in my opinion. I can't stand to even be in the area of a port any more, let alone a rail yard.
