All you have to do is account for the time. Don't hide anything.this post seems to be full of answers from people with no clue.if you lived of mommy put it down. If you were in jail put it down. Do not lie on the app.someone will hire you.

Its hard to find any job that will take you with no work, experience. Unless you were in college, but then you shouldnt be here, lol.

How many of you would hand over the keys to your truck to a guy thats never had a job? Thats what youre looking at here bud, you dont know what work is. Thats why they want a work history. Youd likely quit in your first month and abandon the truck. Even if you don't wanna believe that, thats what most companies will believe.

For those who keep Pm'ing me .The reason I'm asking is my living arrangement is changing ,so living in a truck would be much better than living on the street.

Yes I have worked, the thing is it was for a landscaping "business" which for some reason no longer exists ;)

@guitarman Thanks Covenantwas the one I was thinking of ,going to give them a call and have my grandma pray for me.

I don't understand why so many people complain about first year pay here.

Usually you're getting 4-5 months of PAID training something which most other professions make you do for free,as well as a month of unpaid schooling. So of course when half of the year your still in training ,its gonna be alot lower then year 2

Look at what a lot of these companies (namely, megacarriers) do hand the keys to their trucks to.

OP: Just put in applications. What's the worst that'll happen? They'll say no? Well, if that's what you're anticipating, no big ####### deal, right? Someone will hire you... I don't know who it is, but you're not delving anywhere near the realm of impossibility here, whatsoever.

Covenant will be more than happy to have another slave....er....I mean driver....the pay will stink, the working conditions will be substandard and appalling but hey, look at the bright side, if after a year you haven't run away or killed yourself, you can be sold to another carrier who might pay you just a little bit more to keep you on their plantation...I mean truck.

I can remember when trucking was a respected profession, the people behind the wheel were a breed of there own, the load was always delivered no matter what....

Now it is just a step up from homelessness....boy have we progressed.

Why at 25 years of age have you only had your 4 wheeler license for 6 months?
