Got my job offer today

Speak for yourself on the tarping lol...dont mind strapping and chaining but tarping is a animal I dont want to mess with...

 

I will take my Conestoga everyday over a regular flat for hauling glass. It is 8 less pieces of v-board to tape up, 8 less end caps, 2 less tarps, and 24 less ropes to tie. Easily save 3-4 hours on every load.

 

I rather throw 100 chains and binders the tarp anything...Tarping is not my thing...not at all

 

I saw a Maverick truck with a low-boy trailer hauling some speed boats a few days ago.

 

A few guys haul boats out of Mountain Home,AR. A few guys also haul equipment out of iowa and what ever they can find back.

 

I know tmc hauls them...but I never seen maverick with one....thpught they hauled alot of glass

 

There's a fairly large division devoted to glass.

Boats are limited to just a handful of trucks from what I understand, and I think you have to live in the vicinity of Mountain Home, AR to do it. You won't see many, but they're out there.

 

Oh ok..do maverick have step deck and rgn?

 

We do have step decks for hauling glass. They have removable racks for hauling back hauls when necessary. We don't haul typical step deck freight like equipment. There is an oversize division that hauls for Case/New Holland but there is a long waiting list.

 

Yea its hard to get on anyone oversize division. ..how are the I/c doing over there
