Agree with these comments. Lots of sodium in how you eat, plus two meals a day then just all snacks isn't that great either. I have a 12v cooler and wouldn't live without it. I only eat outside the truck a few times a week, otherwise all healthy stuff from my cooler I make at home before I head out.

    Yogurt.

Frozen foods (I enjoy Chinese stir fry that I microwave). They are less in Sodium and last for 3-4 days in the refrigerator, easy.

Fresh veggies which you can store for a few days in the frig, easy.

A Coleman will set you back about $110 on sale at the TS. They last for years. Can't justify you buying one, even when it comes to eating healthier? That's not what I would call "cheap". It's what I would call not well thought out...

I have a big cooler with ice packs when I leave out nothing but raw fruit & veggies. water only do I drink. apples, bananas, plum, kiwi, spinach green pepper, cucumber, & a lot more of the same type. it is all raw, all fresh & a lot of times grown & picked right here where I live. at home I'll eat the meat off the grill & potatoes. in the hot summer watermelon, kiwi, oranges, & mango will quench my thirst so I don't need to drink so much.

Bought my Coleman for $80 at Wally. It's saved me hundreds and hundreds on truck stop garbage food.

Moderation on anything is not bad. Some times after a long hard day, tired and hungry, a burger, coke, and fries just hits the spot. So, fast food occasionally will not bother anyone. It's been a couple weeks I think since I even had any.

How cool does that Coleman get? The other issue of not getting one of these coolers is the statement on the box saying it can cool up to 30-40 degrees below the current temp. For yogurt or milk, stuff like this will spoil from my experience unless its below freezing. I know stuff can stay cold, but cold enough to keep bacteria and stuff from spoiling?
