OK. here's some good flatbed & tanker companies that hire new CDL graduates:

    Howard Transportation
    Melton Truck Lines
    Trimac
    Superior Carriers
    Schneider Bulk
    SVTN
    CTL Transportation

Edit : Trimac website may show experience required, they now hire new CDL graduates.

Inverter is exactly that, it changes DC to AC power. So you can plug in a microwave or toaster.

APU is a small diesel motor that run's your AC, heater, keep's your batteries charged, so you don't have to Idle the truck. Which in some places you can't do.

    MrBolton88 Thanks this.

My bf started out with Boyd after school and has had no complaints at all. He has had constant miles. Trucks have apu's, training is 7 wks long plus orientation and 1 wk additional securement training paid at $500 a wk), tuition reimbursement at $150 a mth, and in our case good about his home time. If he wants home for the weekend he's here.

I dont know much about what your home time would be like but I know my bf has done many loads into and out of NC. Good luck with whatever company you choose.
