What's a "24 hr. reset"?? They are more like 48 hours now.

IF THE OILFIELD BOYS get 24 hours to reset. then i'm going to be pissed. cuz it's 34 for the rest of us,.

The question is are you required to wait 168 hours to reset you 70 as you are required to wait 168 when you are not in the oilfield exempt status -

This is wrong. You can take as many resets as you want in a 7 day period and reset your hours everytime. The new rules didn't change a thing about the oilfield reset. If you haul a general freight load then you must follow the rules with the 34 hour reset and 168 hours between resets for 7 days following when you are done with that load.passingthru69, hardworkinman and rabbiporkchop Thank this.

most people cant use that statues! its more for the fracers, cement and people who are on job sites for periods of time. and driving is not what they do for the most part.
