On my way home to get a new driver license cause I guess I droped mine at a stop. One of the many things that has happened I called but of course they did not find it. Iv gone through 2 snow storms an ice storm and a rain storm im callingbit a night cause I cant take any more of this crazy weather. Hope when I go back this get a little easier. My sister will be with me so that will keep me calmer I think. Each week my miles go a little higher. Ok off to bed im so tired. Everyone have a good night

done with day one... paperwork then listen to leasing give their presentation.... which went in one ear and out the other lol. going good so far.... only complaint is room mate is kinda loud and obnoxious but no biggie.. he has experience and is leasing so after friday will have room to my self... and the 3 days orientation just turned into 8 days

 

Eight days in the yard, gamma? How many days OTR with a coach? We kept hearing that they were going back to the old template for training and orientation.

 

FYI -

Temperatures are soaring up into the 80s across a large part of the South with some cities, like New Orleans, seeing their warmest day of the year so far! But with much colder weather not far away (and another winter storm in the Upper Midwest tomorrow) you can bet there’s severe weather cropping up in between. No reports of tornadoes so far this month, but that could change in the next few hours as severe weather starts ramping up across the Plains and Mid-Mississippi Valley this evening. The threat continues tomorrow with a moderate risk of severe storms in the Mid-Mississippi Valley, including most of Arkansas.
Last year April was relatively quiet for tornado activity with only 86 reported as opposed to the 10 year average of about 240 tornadoes in the month of April for the U.S. Of course, we wish we could say there were ZERO! This year, we’re expecting increased severe weather activity in April, especially in the Plains states.

 

Well it's 3 days of orientation then a few days of backing practice then a skills test and still 11 days with a trainer

 

I'm currently a student at transam, should be going out with a trainer tomorrow. My question is that if I decide to be a company driver will they try and get rid of me? I don't want to lease and they seem to be pushing it hard now. I might want to later but just not now until I get some miles under me.
