Where are all the prime trainers? I was in the lab waiting to do the driving simulator and I overheard a guy saying that they don't have enough trainers for the amount of trainees. What's going to happen to all the psd students

You may have to wait a few days to get one. PSD students come back to Springfield every day to test out and move on to TNT (hopefully). Instructors usually become available daily. Don't sweat it. The easiest way to make sure you get an instructor is by talking to the drivers you see around the Campus Inn. I found mine that way and so did a few others.

Somebody has to staff the new overnight shift at the Northstar Grille....Paradlddle Thanks this. -
I am holding off taking another student until they get the new testers in place, and the testing schedule back to normal. They held me out for five weeks with this last one, should have been tested out in three...... Nightmare scenario, next student would take 7 weeks.

That's sucks that they keep bringing all these new people in with no trainers. I really don't want to be up here waiting weeks and weeks for a trainer. I'm ready to learn

It's not so much that, but the really bad weather over the last four to five weeks has prevented much of the activities that normally take place on the pad. They're not going to have permit students practicing backing and conducting CDL road tests in bad winter conditions on ice. That created a back-up in getting the PSD students tested and on into the TnT phase. Your complaint is with Mother Nature.

I will be back there in a few weeks and then there will be another non smoking instructor.

kinda.
Students aren't passing on the first try, so they have to retest. Plus there is a lack of examiners. There have only been two for quite some time. 3 more have just finished the state course. I guess the test pad will be back up to full speed shortly.
so it really is a human and nature created crud-storm of a log jam. -
Btw there is a new 800# for instructors and trainers to get the latest updates from the training department. It's a recorded msg and you press 1 for instructor or 2 for TNT Trainers.
also hearing there is a monthly newsletter you can pick up at the terminals when they get that going.
your FM can get you that phone number. Posting it here would just invite trolls.Easy Steamer Thanks this. -
Thanks Chuck, Been outta the game for a bit. But I have suffered enough and know when I am whipped. Will be back on the 21st of April

I guess it's just weird for me cause I'm so excited to learn...it have some guys here been for three weeks or more waiting on a trainer. I talked to one guy that seems like a real good trainer but he live in Texas and I'm from Louisiana
