Must to talking bout direct store drop--Been to most of Costco's DCs haven't been in any where you even can get inside/-at least since they got big.....now some might remember their original NE DC.....8 doors in part of a shared whse on a side street in Woburn Ma---& they were efficient back then too......

The Costco distribution center in Monrovia Maryland is one of the easiest places to deliver to ,you pull up to guard shack , hand them bills , they give you pager with door # on it ,when it beeps you open doors back up to dock ,it turns red , when it beeps and turns green again , you drive back to gate get paperwork and you are gone ! Wish Wal mart did that !

The "dock plate or garage door" is "their stuff".

I stay pretty much in the Mid-West and every Cost Co store Ive been to have been a good experience. Sam's Club on the other hand, some of these people obviously hate their job and try to take it out on the drivers coming in! The Walmart, Kroger, Costco and Target DC's are all drop and hook for me. That's the way I like it! :)

Yes i totally agree, the one in jamestown NJ is the same way, just no where to park, Morris il has the pager system too, so this guy must be at a store, and i had a drop one time, and it was at a store, they yelled at me cause i bumped the wrong door, i told them i would not move cause it was pouring cats and dogs. all for one pallet.

FYI:If you go to Monrovia--get an 11am delivery---The lunch wagon that comes thru there has Burritos to rival ANY of the old family trucks in LA--and Mexican Bottled Coca-Cola--The real Stuff.........
Ok maybe MY priorities are different LMAO

I was wondering the same thing. The Costco DC in Laredo is the same way. You never set foot inside.
