    Well hmm.

I agree that God knows your heart. You have to work and provide for the fam and if you are OTR driver and ask for a day off each week, that might be a little too much.
As far as communion...keep in mind that many churches don't hold communion at each service in hopes that it doesnt become such a common thing to do...ie....lots of people get so used to it, that the meaning behind it isnt there for them...or they dont think about the meaning. Thats why I like other churches that just have it once a month...seems more meaningful to me instead of kneel, stand, kneel, stand, kneel, walk, eat, kneel, sit, stand. That was the routine it seemed like when I was catholic.

There are truck stop ministries all over the place, just need to look for them online to see which stops they are at.

I am a guilt ridden catholic and I have used the truck stop chapels when I am out on the road also you can get the catholic mass on ewtn so it has never been an issue for me I also find it keep me centered and you need that in this proffesion.

My church has a website where I can download WMA files of the weekly sermons. I usually do that when I have to miss a Sunday. I can play them off my laptop through the radio in the truck. I also have a lot Christian songs in my music collection. I often play my music on the computer set up to play my collection randomly, gives me a steady reminder throughout the day

When I was OTR, I went to church every Sunday. I didn't care where I was at - small town, big town, anytown, I found a church and went to it. There is nothing that replaces personal worship in a corporate (church with a lot of other believers present) environment. Any trucking company that wants to interfere with that - a 2 hour visit to a church somewhere on Sunday - well I would say it, but it wouldn't be very Christianlike. Okay, they can go to HADES. You CAN go to church, who is going to tell you no? Get the news media involved, tell them that X trucking company is breathing down your throat because you went to church. THAT should go over real well.......

Well, it's just my opinion and what I did when I was on the road all the time. I've never allowed any entity to interfere with my relationship with my Lord regardless of the consequences. There are reasonable limitations, of course, but going to church on Sunday is certainly nothing unreasonable.
