New to Prime INC - What to expect (Springfield edition)

new to this i thought diff guys follow diff threads so put question out to as many guys i could to see what info i could get i have questions about flatbeds what thread should i use? thanks for helping me out

Not a flatbedder, so not really sure, BUT I was am under the impression that you will not be able to leave the Prime Yard unless you have 100% of the required equipment.

 

I'm coming to Springfield on the 21st for Orientation & PSD and was wondering about finding a Non Smoking Trainer..?

 

Non smoking students are matched up with non smoking trainers as policy

 

Although sometimes it can be difficult to get them matched right away. Some nonsmokers end up with smoking trainers just to get the ball rolling.

 

Just be clear. Non smokers are not forced into these situations.

 

So what do you do while waiting for a Non Smoking Trainer..I mean if it took 2 or 3 weeks to get one would I be able to practice backing or learn about load securement or study for the HAZMAT...?

 

You go out to the training pad everyday and pre trip I've been going to the pad since Saturday I'm at the point now where I don't need the sheet anymore. there are instructors out there working with other students.they might let you in the truck to practice backing if you ask them
