Well of course. Those big glossy ads they run everywhere could not possibly mean that they don't need drivers because they have a company full of happy veterans.

Veteran drivers are no longer just happy to have a job and will start telling them to shove their illegal dp's. They also won't put up with not getting home or want to risk their clean CDL driving in the NE in the winter.

These large outfit love the "lemmings" because they have them by the nether regions after they sign on the dotted line. Happy trucking!:biggrin_255:

But if you want to see some real "lemmings"? Go read the Prime thread. :biggrin_25525:

from what ive been reading, they arent the only ones who are slowing down, its industry wide, even refer is slowing down i have had to sit all weekend at k-mart waiting to load monday morning here in the twin cities just going to chicago suberb, then down to texas for the 23rd, will try to drop at terminal and grab firstone load for building products home to erie but have to check tomorrow. but as far as miles no one seems to have many, ive been lucky the past few weeks with averaging 3500 but even to get that ive had to press part of life what can u do

That would be because he used the "search" function like other people need to do, instead of starting a new thread.

Let's be totally fair, we all did that when we we're new to the forum.

Well, that's true. The point being though, it's better to reply to an existing thread, no matter how old, as long as it's relevant to your topic.

    Meltom Thanks this.

Note to Mods - This site would be a lot more user-friendly if each posting on the Forum actually indicated the date the discussion was started. I get very tired of clicking on a discussion, and finding out - like this one - it began 7 years ago. I try to guess how old a Thread is from the number of responses, but that doesn't work well either. So hey guys - redo the format! Help!

It's actually better if you post in an existing thread than start a new one, especially if an existing thread is relevant to your topic. The age doesn't matter.

    bullhaulerswife and Meltom Thank this.
