Depends. I had one in Punta Gorda, FL come to me.
I had over a pallet of apples rejected because walmart said they weren't red enough. Lady didn't have a truck bed so she hauled her suv and boat over and used the boat as a trailer bed to haul the stuff away.
Every food bank Ive dealt with has been very appreciative. It aint gonna hurt to ask if they'll come get it.... -
I don't think any receiver in their right mind would refuse a pallet of TVs.

Was in a truckstop in Wyoming a few years back. A driver walked in with a duffle bag, selling Frost Cutlery knives for $2 apiece. Pocket knives, had a half a pallet of knives he had to get rid of. I hit the ATM for a hundred bucks. The driver had a half a pallet of knives. Kept 4 for myself and gave the rest away as gifts.
EZ Money Thanks this. -
You'd be surprised. I had a load of consumer electronics(laptops, tv's game systems) and their claims dept said one box had water damage. So they refused the whole load. Didn't get to keep it though ended up taking the lot to another warehouse across town.

There was a guy at a truckstop about a year ago with a pallet of icecream. He was giving it away to anyone that asked. I didn't have a freezer back then so I had to eat all that he gave me right away...but it was pretty nice on a hot day to get free icecream from a reefer driver.
I was joking about the tv's , butt here has got to be something in between tv's and apples.koncrete cowboy Thanks this. -

Whenever I pulled Hershey loads to Walmart DC's they always refused at-least one box, because it's Walmart and they're retarded.
Company always told me to push it off the back of a truck, it's just a single box. Except for one time...when it was 4 boxes...and we still couldn't get rid of it! over in Ochellata, OK at the Wally world DC, get dispatched on a new load over in Tulsa heading to Ontario, CA and told to push it off the back of the truck. Brought the candy with me to the Flying hook in Tulsa, old grandpa driver had a couple of grand kids in the cab with him.
I walk up and ask "Hey driver, think your little ones would like some candy?" He accepts and I bring around two 50 lb boxes of Reeses cups, a box of Milk duds and something else, can't remember what it was.
Not gonna lie, I grabbed a bunch of Reeses cups before I got rid of them. Who doesn't like chocolate and peanut butter? Well me, after having eaten about 50 of them. Then about 10 more packs of Reeses was rattiling around in my Volvos freezer for like, a month and a half.koncrete cowboy Thanks this. -
Youre right, won't hurt to ask them.I would be doing the same thing and the food is theres as long as they come get it.
