I wish you were defecating me, but these days I'll believe anything... because it's required.
Seems more like the nitwit fairy. I have to wonder exactly who determined increasing driver workload/unnecessary distraction for backing maneuvers seemed like a good idea.

From a safety directors point of view it doesn't matter how many or who is waving you back. The one sitting in the seat is 100% responsible, even a trainee. Trust no one but your own eyes, GOAL if you have to.
One incident and given the circumstances he should be okay. If it happens again anytime soon then it might be a problem.gpsman and skbexpress Thank this. -
That's easy. Some idiot who never drove one before.gpsman Thanks this.

Yes thats correct... each and every time, and the safety team does check ........

Doesn't this apply only to drivers out of certain terminals. Central has never said anything to me. I've had log support or maybe safety audit me once. They called me because I kept forgetting to send in my 32 for a week straight. Oops. Only forgot 2 days this week. Lol. And as far as sending goal. When I'm backing in Chicago off a street. Blocking traffic. I'm sure the honking cars would appreciate it if I didn't stop to send a message on the Qualcomm.

From my understanding it is to be nationwide...I questioned my safety director here in atlanta about such situations such as blocking traffic to back, and was told basically those are driver decisions. But basically like my mentor expressed to me 3 yrs ago while training, while backing it is always the drivers
responsibility to check conditions and objects.... -

Toomanybikes Thanks this. -
I sure don't see this in the company handbook.
