We are really working hard to stay in our lanes. MN, IA, MO, WI, IL, IN, MI, OH, PA, NY & MD. Rates are staying strong. We took a couple to North TX and OK this week and did OK. I did miss the bid on a 70K lb load from DBQ to Galveston, TX.

You bid on that also?? We did too but I think my bounce money request killed us.
I wonder who got it then.
They also had some lds. going to Maine, but I passed

I am scared of the Northeast because of the route survey requirements. We don't have a boom trench so sometimes we could have an issue getting legal height. sending you a PM.

There was an 844 that went on the bid board late in the day. Just a little too heavy for us to haul. I don't think you will get enough bounce money on it though.

Bootlegging freight days are all but over now. Way too much technology to catch you with. I did my share back in the day but not now no way. It is bad enough when the state gives you a bad route on the permit but to deliberately run w/o a permit is stupid. Have an accident and your life is done with. Fines could cost more than your house did.

    passingthru69 and 281ric Thank this.

I was going to let this go but the more I thought about it , the more it bothered me. If he asked , its because some people say yes.
Not sure if it will do anything and FWIW , I filed a complaint in carrier relations against this agent , hopefully the company cares enough to dig in a little and at least contact him, let him know that not everyone is as slimy as him and someone might call him out on his actions.
