yeah, I'm sure I'd still have to pay state taxes in my state of residence. I dont want to have to get a new CCW permit for TX.

I work at Gold Spur, all the guys squawking about stuff are just sour grapes who either got fired quit cause they didn't want to work for their money. Good drivers, some great trucks, some good trucks, managers are good guys (now
), unlike all the cry babies claim I've never had a truck without AC...if it broke they fixed it, never made better money anywhere I've been, good benefits, Paid Time Off and a BBQ every now and then although we could use more of those!
If you're staying away because of some griping ex-employee you're missing out on a good company. They seem to have one of the steadiest long term contracts around the Eagle Ford which is almost never the case. -
What's the schedule like down there?
-
I need to get hired. Operator or any position that's not 100% driving!
How do people do this? I seem to be spinning my wheels. -
You and me both.
-
Just got my CDL , looking for oilfield a , any company that trains ?

Some guys work 6 on 3 off, some 5 on 2 off. Both day and night shift. I think at some of their other terminals they use a 5 on 2 off 5 on 3 off. Not too many schedules you can even use that work with HOS, they keep strict HOS.
