I am not a driver but wondered what I would do in this case,

I hope someone gets on here and gives you some good ideas, if it were me I would stay right where you are until the roads are clear.

But as I say I am not a driver , Good Luck

when they start shutting down 80 25 will be next
if your safe where your parked stay there
there will be trucks parked everywhere soon enough

when they open up the roads wait at least an hour or 2 before you go
there are more accidents when the road reopens then during the storm
dumb ### drivers think they have to get somewhere
and treat it like a NASCAR restart

your only going to pick up beer that probably isnt ready anyway
no one will suffer from alcohol withdrawals if you are a day late

the beer distributor in omaha is up a funny lil twisty road be careful
the gps didnt like it very well

Good morning. krazyhorsechick, the guys gave you the best advice possible ....stay put. You are parked and safe ....everyone will be looking for a place to park before long. Wait it out and as Pete said wait a couple of hours after the roads are cleared to move again. It's not a competition and don't worry about how many trucks are still running the highway. The only thing of any true value in that truck is your life .....if you do not feel safe then very simply you are not safe. This is something that TransAm is great about, they will not push you to drive if you feel it isn't safe. I am thankful that you found a place to park and have the opportunity to wait it out.

    dennisroc Thanks this.
