My chief concern is living as cheaply as possible during retirement (commencing fairly soon) and this would be a good area to cut expenses. -
But I am a believer now. The combined effects of my BiPAP machine and no longer smoking changed my life to a large degree. No more headaches, dry hangovers, gasping at night etc. More energy and losing weight.
Looking back, I believe my mother may have had sleep apnea, but no way of knowing or even considering back then. Who knows, she may have lived much longer had the knowledge been available. -

Physical qualifications, related to respiratory dysfunction for drivers, state that "a person is physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) if that person has no established medical history or clinical diagnosis of a respiratory dysfunction likely to interfere with his/her ability to control and drive a commercial motor vehicle safely. If the medical examiner detects a respiratory dysfunction, that in anyway is likely to interfere with the driver's ability to safely control and drive a commercial motor vehicle, the driver must be referred to a specialist for further evaluation and therapy."[SUP]3[/SUP] -
Nobody has answered my question - WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT THIS? I live in Indiana. where is a doctor I can go to for cheap, cause I'll have to pay for it myself? -
I have a question. If I ever have to take a sleep test I will start jogging until I pass out. Wont that solve the problem? I used to exercise a lot and cardio really got rid of any problem.
