    Hey all,
    I am going to be starting soon and curious what I should/can wear until I get a uniform. Do they allow shorts? Do they have shorts to go with the uniform? I was thinking of wearing some cargo shorts until I get a uniform.

    I know some of the freight guys were blue cargo shorts which is part of their uniform, probably should ask someone from that terminal

    Pants/jeans/shorts are fine. Shirts can not have any logo on them. Make sure you don't mind getting them dirty. I wore plain dark colored t-shirts and jeans with work boots. No sneakers.

    Yup.. what he said. I think you'll get the uniforms pretty fast . Used to be the entire 90 day probationary period but I believe they order them for you right away now.

    Really? Our new drivers seem to get suited up in like a week. A lot of things vary here based on location from what I've seen though.

    How's this place working out for you so far?

    I like the job. The hours are wearing me down. We need two more daytime drivers and they've been dragging their feet hiring anyone which means just about everyone has had 60 hour weeks.

    60 hours isn't anything.We do 68-70 hours a Week down in Texas.Work for Conway Freight myself
