I don't think they will ask for past medical records. BUT.
Here's my theory behind what I suggested. IF they do a follicle test and if it happens to show up, you have the doctor written script with you, you will also have a letter saying that you no longer need to take it. CYA...always.
Because I wasn't sure of the class of the drug I suggested asking the doctor if it would show up and by that I meant as something that could be mistaken as.
I'm not a doctor and I haven't been a paramedic for over 15 year's...I've been a mother of a son with ADHD ( and Aspergers) for 23 year's and I know he still has copies of his old script's, just in case. ( He is in the Army now)
btw, never hide anything ( medical) on purpose, it can ( and may) come back to bite you in the back-side. You get in an accident as a CDL driver and kill someone and they will dig through your life and find thing's you didn't even know where their, AND use it against you.

Anyone have anything to say about Stevens or TMC?
-
The worst we heard directly from a driver about TMC is that they are Anal about how clean you keep the truck's.
Now that's not saying that we didn't hear the "no miles", "my dispatcher is a &^%$#". But as experience as told me, if you look into it, more times than not you will find the driver is their own worst enemy when it comes to miles or their dispatcher being a **&^%$. If your a jerk TO your dispatcher, he/she is going to be a jerk back and you might find you aren't getting the miles. -
Didn't care for any of these drugs, they mess with your head too much and cause more problems then they generally solve.
There's very little similarity between the drugs. Ritalin is a simple ans single form of phenethylamine versus Adderall which is a combination of 4-5 phenethylamine.
In this case they are similar, in that their detectable period of time in urine is extremely short. Even then, standard/in depth urine drug tests typically aren't setup to check for this form of stimulant. This form of stimulant is no longer detectable in urine within two days of abstaining from it. Doubtful that a company is going to hair folicile for a specialized medicine. Hence "6 months a large amount of time to stop taking..."
Regardless, while there is a difference- they're still defiantly in the same ballpark.
It's arguable that the only reason Adderall is Sechd 2, is because of it's more prevalent use in the past 15 years, and ergo: recreational use. Ritalin is less widely prescribed in this day and age, simply because it doesn't "work" as well. With that said, hyperactivity, ADHD, ADD- it was the flavor du jour in the 90's-early 2000's.
Today it's all aspergers and autism. Something is mildly off with a chids behavior and he's labeled something, and of course! There's a pill to fix it. -
Adderall will show up as amphetamines you definitely don't want on there without a prescription

You and the others who say to keep quiet need to actually understand the law and the signature requirement on the form. If found, this makes the CDL invalid. Yes, your medical file becomes a matter of fact in the event of an accident.
I certify that the above information is complete and true. I understand that inaccurate, false or missing information may invalidate the examination and my
