I see alanp613 is here! Any good trailers at the FW yard. Got to go and fetch one in the morning! Preferably one of those new 747 jet engine ones with aluminum wheels if we have it!

ST, you mentioned you lost some weight and your better half was cooking in the truck if I remember my blogs right. My wife would like to get some of her advise and recipes on what she is able to cook and prepare in the truck. We tried it back when I was an O/O (we had a fried, microwave) but we never got beyond cereal and hot dogs. Oh yea, and don't forget in infamous cold cut sandwich. So if we can link those two up it would be helpful. Our kids are all grown and she and our King Charles will be riding with me. Heck of a crew if you ask me. Man that 2000 deposit though really hurts. Someone in the past must have screwed up a truck is all I can think.Last edited: Apr 16, 2014

Alright Bro. My better half just thought it was funny that I didn't know what it meant. She said I'm too old to know the new jargon.

I'll bet you that Jarhead didn't know what it meant!! And if he did I really feel old as crap.

You are just sharing this awesome, wonderful of a tool with the rest of us? I will be using that from now on.
Got this load moving from San Leandro, CA. The receiver is Millard Cold Storage on Centralia, WA. Stopped here at the TA in Redding, CA. Gonna make the rest of the trip to Millard and be there about noon tomorrow. The load has an appointment for 1030 on Friday. I had called Millard (didn't say I was JCT, just said I am a truck driver) and asked how early can I show up with 1030 appointment time. She tells me that I can show up however early I want and that they do having parking there and can stay overnight. And I can check in early also and might be able to unloaded early also. When I heard this I simply said thank you for the info and hung up, but really I was going hell yeah, lets get there early and if I can unload early, great; and if not, got me a good break in and gives my 70 clock a little boost on the recaps. -
There is a Loves real close to Millards.... Exit 72... Actually has 2 truck stops at that exit...... Another one at exit 57... Good food there
