This is the reason why I am no longer with that company.Actually I got terminated.I was going to quit but boss man had his own plans.Showed up at receiver and fired me on the spot.I sued him and my lawyer cleaned up my DAC guess the boss put a lot of horrible things on it.But he taught me a few things, always do a pretrip and never drive for an unfit company, not worth it.

With 33 people in this thread, and a quickly shifting topic, it's only a matter of time until this reveals the massive amounts of sexual frustration built up in all of you. And BOOM- thread gets locked.

I was a local driver at kb with like 25 other locals and there was a certain driver who minded everybody elses business but his own, always reporting somebody.I told him just that to get a life.Actually I yelled that at him.

Right on...I dont like ppl trying mess over me...if your company is a piece of sh## and I dont want to terminate my lease then let me go clean and good and dont try to slander me

That company talked me out of quitting 3 times with raises. Finally I had enough when the rear axle busted in half while driving and then he wanted me to bust my ### getting a load delivered the next day after driving a hundred miles to get a rented trl coming back and having a shop offload the product onto the rented trailer and be at the receiver in Dallas by 5 pm.Told him it ain't happening and I refused to even try.Thats when our relationship took a huge turn for the worst. For the next 2 weeks I pretty much sat my choice.
Chinatown and realsupatrucka Thank this. -
About once a month I do a "full" inspection (lying on ground) -- takes about 30 minutes. About once a week I do a very thorough duck-walking inspection (10min). And twice daily I do the stooping walk-around (3min plus another 2 for morning underhood). It helps shave time if you apply the principles of speed reading (don't slow down your mind's comprehension by using your inner voice to check things off).
Trolley tug test is useful when combined with an air application gauge. If it takes 20psi to do what 10 used to, you want to do a more thorough brake inspection than the simple stooping walkaround glance at linings & slack adjuster angle
2/2 for clean scale inspections...realsupatrucka Thanks this. -
If the truck starts and moves why inspect it?
