usual newbie start pay is around $15 - $16 bumped $1for nights.
You DO NOT need 2 year OTR to find a spot , you can go there fresh minted out of whatever school you got your cdl out of.

Consolidated is in Ponca City. Trican is in Shawnee. and Cimarron acid in Fairview.

Just realized you said Tx. Frac Tech FTSI in Midland. Best thing to do if you want a job out there is to just go out there and knock on doors, shake hands and be PERSISTANT.

Come to ND. Not saying there are a lot of companies that will train an inexperienced driver but there are a few. I personally tend to hire drivers with little to no experience over drivers with "a lot". Its too hard to "retrain" guys with years of OTR miles under their belt. Sorry but Off Road driving is not the same as OTR. I can train newbies to drive the way I want them too and they tend to be better with the equipment in the long run. The OTR guys or "experienced" guys are constantly breaking drive lines. Twisted drive shafts, grenades rear ends, burnt up clutches, damaged transmission... I could keep going. Give MBI energy logistics a call. Look em up on the net. Thats if you want to come to the Bakken
