    Celadon really wants me, they're somewhat regional which is ok, i'd much prefer OTR

    Indian River DOES have optional Elogs, unfortinatley they're in the newer peterbilts, and I don't want to drive a peterbilt, and they don't want me in a new truck (which I support 100%)

    Melton won't leave me alone, they've been bugging me ever since I ran into a trainer/recruiter about a year ago

    really, pick one and go. now if u were me it would be a problem 3 years otr been off road since 08 and self employed since 08 no wants me.

    How did Schneider for get about you.. were you not calling and talking to them during the three months you were out for an injury? They are a big company with many drivers... with any large company, as a driver you have to be proactive... which means calling and talking to wnoever you need to when you are out with an injury...

    I am not trying to be rude... but, to be a good truck driver you have to be able to pay attention to details.. you must have some idea of why you were terminated... you must have some idea of the job you were or were not doing...

    If you truly want help.. if I were you I would just be forthcoming and straght here.. the more information hou give us the more we can help... there are drivers here with a lot of good information on a variety of companies.. if you just throw all your beans out on the table.. they can better help you..

    Fired from 3 companies in one year? Yow. Talk about a bad pattern. I'd bet you do know at least part of the "why." Learn from that. I got out of my CDL refresher school with some great help from the experrienced trucking community people there: "All you have to do ito succeed is, keep your mouth shut and don't say no to loads." (Presuming a company job to start out) That's about all you need, besides the obvious - don't wreck the truck, show up on time, and avoid citations. Just keep looking, right now the peak shipping period is just hitting the books.

    we dont all have late deliveries
    one in last 3 years but there was no radiator in the truck for the appointment

    I am with the opinion of a few other people already on here. You may not be telling us something here. I believe there is a way out there to see your DAC report. If there is something inaccurate on the DAC, then your first step would be to see what is wrong on the report. No big company will hire you if there is something bad on there unless YOU be proactive, find out what it was and can tell them that A) this is a flat out lie or B) and explain the situation fully to them.

    Now as far as your list is going, yes you are way too picky right now. You have to be the first person I have ever heard of that wouldn't want to drive a Pete. That sounds like being given the keys to a brand new Cadillac only to say to them, no thanks, but do you have the keys to that old Crown Vic you have parked over there? Your aversion to E-logs is going to be more of a hassle the longer you are a company driver as more and more big companies switch their fleets over to them. This is just a fact in the industry. They will keep getting more and more tractors with E-logs in them. I don't understand the no APU requirement at all. Do you just want to sit and idle the truck all the time you are parked at a truck stop or do you prefer to sweat or freeze when you are in a place or with a company that doesn't let you idle the truck? The reluctance to go with an automatic, a lot of companies are starting to realize they are in demand right now and I have driven one for almost a year now. They aren't half bad.

    Now with what you have said if you could get over one of the things I stated above as being too picky, then here are the following companies you should try for: Prime, they run reefer and tanker but they use E-logs. TMC, I am sure they have E-logs but they are a flatbed company, but have good reviews from other drivers. They also run Petes exclusively. Averitt, who I run for, has Automatics and APUs, some have E-logs but not all, I know because I run a comic book for them. They are regional too. But good benefits, good pay, etc.

    So my tip for you is this, find out your report, get over your demands, find a company that fits what you want to do and get back out on the road.
