i been here in florida for a while cant find a trucking job... this sucks every company asking for 2-3 years exp where are all these people graduating from cdl mills going?
not even being an o/o no company wants to add a truck with a driver without 2 yrs with the license.
no insurance company wants to take any risks so how are new people supposed to enter the industry...
i though there was a shortage of drivers?

Florida is tough. Lots of freight going in but they don't produce anything but oranges, so not much going out. Thus, in florida, there are a lto fo drivers and not much outgoing freght. That means they can be pickey with who they hire.

It's tough. When I first started the only companies that would hire me were CRST and Carolina Cargo.

Try Conway Truckload......but last I heard Orlando was as far south as they are hiring right now....

Arnold (out of Jacksonville) will hire you. They are a decent beginner company.

OP, state where you live and how much recent experience. Perhaps someone might give you a decent lead. Several companies hire all the time in my area.

Rinaudo, cypress, Arnold, South eastern freight(trainee program), Indian River(tanker)...
Chinatown will stop by with a lot more im sure..he gives some good advice..
