To any owner operators out of GA I'm thinking of moving there. How are the rates?

I stayed really busy off loadboards for a long while getting home nightly or at worst every other night on occasion. Wasn't doing it for piss poor container rates. You guys get taken advantage of so easily. They pay flatbedders more than double what they pay you to chain an empty can on a flat. All I'm saying is you don't have to work for free to get quality hometime. In a freight market like ATL I can't believe anyone would but they line up for it.

 

they have to stay home and guard their women.

 

I'm not saying rates are great but you can make money of containers in GA. Home every night. I do it.

 

#### my wife wants me to stay gone for 3 weeks at a time minimum. This way she can do house projects and Im not here to make her change her mind.

 

you miss the point entirely, if the wife goes its not because of the truck, its the wife. folks cant blame it on the truck all they want, but the problem lies elsewhere.

if a man uses a truck to make a living and the wife leaves, its a charcter flaw within in her.
