When I first began in this industry the shipper said put it in door 15 I kept putting the trailer in door 14 and 16 so much they finally got frustrated with me and said to put it in any door so they could just get out of there. Backing will just click one day and then you will have a hard time backing your car cause we spin the wheel in crazy directions but practice does make perfect. We all have problems backing from time to time different things going on or just plain old tired. This industry takes about 6 months to feel real comfortable but then you have to be careful cause you swell with overconfidence and then that is when most do something stupid. Just be patient it will come.

Hello everyone again I was on here a few weeks ago and was getting to know some people on here a little and then ran into some bad luck.
We live here in South Korea and my wife was going home to the Philippines for an operation on cyst on her ovaries. Everything was fine she would be with her mother and sisters to take care of her after the surgery, so thank God everything is good with her.

i work on airplanes over here and 2 days before she left I was working on a plane and ruptured a disc. I told her that I would probably be fine I had the next 3 days off to relax.
She had her surgery Thursday April 10. And I had my surgery 5 days ago a week later on Thursday April 17 So we are having a little bad luck so far in April.

so to make a short story long, lol I have been in this hospital since my last post on here and if I missed anything from any one I'm sorry, I have just got wifi after being here 11 days so it has really sucked.

i had asked this question before because 27 yrs ago I ruptured the same disc,they removed a little that was causing the pain.
now they removed a little more of the same disc.

Does anyone on here know if I will have a problem with the medical ?

i think in a few months I will back to being fairly healthy.
I appreciate any info and hope everyone didn't think I just dropped off this thread .

i feel like TransAm might work for me and I pretty sure from what I have heard that I will never lease.

 

NEVER EVER DO THE LEASE PURCHASE. It is a gimmic to lure you into paying off company equipment. You get the bills and expense they get the benefits and profit. They make it sound like a good deal because they are good snake oil salesmen.

dennisroc, I am so sorry to hear about your recent troubles. I am glad that you and your wife are now doing ok. I had been wondering about you. I will let the drivers give you an answer on your medical question, but I don't think that you would have a problem. I hope you and your wife are both fully recovered soon!

Noooooo, not writing that book, HTQ! I think it would end up titled "How To Be Incredibly Snarky and Sarcastic" after the publishers had a read-through.

Delivering at the commissaries was fun today. Hopefully I get this run again some time!

 

Im right there with you on the nerves but after my little problems I figure what the hell. I took my time backing today and don't care or even pay attention to the other people looking at me.

 

yeah my backing was little easier today but still needs lots of work. I'm just dreading if I ever have to go to Newark again anytime soon. The load in got now is good just a drop and hook from welches in pay to Dillion's in kansas. At the TA off of 90 exit 35

 

My day sucked I was stuck at first 2 stopes all day and now I have to bring last one tomorrow th3n do a swap in tn going to ok. So im stuck at the ta in Atlanta. I hope to get rolling pretty quick tomorrow. My 2nd stop was short one box.and then they said 8t was 1300 to fix my last truck cause I got lost and turned around in a parking lot little to sharp and bent the side. I have to pay 500 fo4 insurance to fix it. They did not hold it against me tho she said it was not preventable. There gps is so great. I should go to bed now cause after all that the dm got snipy with me which really got my blood boiling. I hope for an easy day tomorrow(most likely wont happen) I wish u all a good night. Think ill just have a good cry now 900.00 in the whole and now another 100 comimg out each week. Please no I told you so's cause I know u did. And its a little to late now

 

It will be ok. We both had a bad week starting so far. I hope things get better for us both.
