Hey fellow truckers, I was at the Fontana, CA Freightliner dealership the other day wanting to purchase a boost gauge and other gauges that were optional for my 2006 Freightliner Century, but the parts guy says sorry, if your truck wasn't built with those gauges, I can't look it up. And yes, there are other options for gauges but i'd like the new gauges to match the existing gauges.

For those of you you have a factory boost gauge and " pyro " gauge can I have the last 6 of your vin so the parts guy can look them up? If you don't want to give me the last 6 of your vin, would you be willing to give it to the parts guy directly?

    Thanks for your help.

    Steve

Too long ago to remember if it had a pyro. It was an O/O and just traded in so i still had the vin. I know my company trucks did. Maybe i can find a vin for one of them.

6LV51654 was my last truck, had all gauges.
A Columbia with all individual gauges with chrome rings around them.

Different gauges in a columbia. If you're still looking i'll try to get the energy to dig through some 5 year old records.

Weird, because the 2000 Century I had before the 2006 Columbia, had all the same gauges. Looked the same, same back lighting, and so on.. All individual round ones, like I said. I didn't have the "cluster" in either truck. Hell the gauges in my WS look like they would be a pretty good match too...

Found an old picture of the Columbia dash. Like I said, exactly the same gauges as my Century before it.
    My 06 Columbia:

An instrument cluster from a 2006 Century:

Not too bad a match, minus the chrome rings.

Most of the columbias had the cluster. Might work then. Unless the wiring is different.

wichris: I'm not in a terrible hurry for the vin at this moment - maybe someone can come through with a vin so you don't have to look thru old records. But I thank you for the offer.
