At Lancaster, getting my 90 day inspection done before rolling out tomorrow.

 

Luckily it doesn't happen very often.

I've had it happen once.

 

Now in Tucumcari. Had enough of the winds. Forecast shows them dropping down to around 5mph tomorrow. Dropped to 6.1mpg by the time that I got here. Glad that I do not have to follow the Swift routing on this load. It was up US287 to US50 to I-25 to I-70 and over to US-491. GPS has another strange route. Used MapQuest and it is about 100 miles shorter. Right now the GPS has me back tracking across US-54 to 287 up to I-70. From here to Portland, 1700 miles. MapQuest, 1520 miles taking I-40 to Gallup and then up.

 

My DM got my accelerated pay restored in 1 day after letting me know I had lost it. Learned a valuable lesson, DO NOT rely on the "MISSING BOLS" button on the web site to tell you if you're missing anything, cause I check it regularly and never saw a thing. Guess I'm gonna to do at least 1 Mac47 a week from now on.

Steve, I had some one in payroll tell me some time ago, it is always best to do a MAC 47 every week.

 

I have never done a mac 47, always check the site but guess might be safe for me to start doing the mac as well at times.

 

I have a recurring appointment set up in my phone that pops up every Wednesday noon that says, "Mac47". I've been bumped off accelerated a few times and discovered it after delivery halfway between no and where on a Wednesday night. It goes back to accelerated a few hours after scanning the missing bol but it sucks when the pay for a long load gets delayed a week.

If anyone is going to be in Las Vegas the next few days I'm shutting down for a breather after I deliver this Costco turd tomorrow evening. I'll be there until Monday morning at the Wild Wild West playing blackjack at the two deck table in the evenings.

good luck in Vegas, I need to plan a trip there sometime but for now just the lotto for me. Its nice living only a couple miles from the Loves in Tehachapi now, the conversation reminded me i had a few trips to get scanned in so just ran and did those and got some lotto tickets for the powerball, I played the mega last night but only won $7.

 

Denver terminal...

This has got to be the worst terminal I've ever seen!!
Trailers parked everywhere and almost no room to maneuver around with
and I'm told the Mira Loma terminal is starting to get crowded also.

I got three stores to deliver to in the Denver area then going back to the DC.

 

Green River, UT. I swear I feel like I have been pulling hills all day.
