A glider is a plane without an engine. A glider trick is a truck that comes from the manufacturer without engine, gearbox, or diffs. They are usually put in by a truck builder. They are a popular way to get a new truck without all the emission rubbish. Not a good idea if you run California. A risk if you run anywhere that they will change emission laws to match California. (IMO)

me personaly I would go for the western star there is more room in the bunk then the kenworth w900 can ever offer and there is just not enough room between the seats you should not have to move the arm rests to get some space but still the kenworth is a good truck to drive.

We were looking at some used trucks and when my boss and I looked at a 2005 WS I just looked at him and said, "This truck makes yours look like section 8 housing"
He currently has a 2001 western star. You would be hard pressed to run out of room in a western star.
