    I'm so shocked reading these threads. You guys only work what seems 3 weeks a month then take a 5 days at home. Seeing that I think I can b a ic. I thought doing a lease you had to work hard but I guess that was only a myth.

    I give them props. I wouldn't stay out for 3 weeks in a truck anymore. I did that when I first started driving.

    Not really, you have more stress, more headaches, more responsibility. By the time u take out all your lucky to do 50k a year. Last year I did 56k and no truck to take care off

    They're probably doing more like 159,000 but 57,000 goes as truck lease payment and 50% goes toward fuel.

    I feel no stress and no headaches. I do what I want when I want. And I make A LOT more money than I did as a company driver.
    If you are making .42 a mile at 3000 miles a week that's $1260 a week gross. I do between $1500-$2500 a week gross. Simple math.
    I well know that I will do north of $60k this year. And I never for a second thought that you, the anti-fleece/lease god, would EVER join our ranks.... Too much work for the likes of you.... Too much responsibility.... Your words, not mine.
