Kiss my #####!
Always has to be a smart *** in every crowd.Corkyf62 Thanks this. -
On the TND under Preferences/General/My Custom POI's - It does have a listing for RR crossings. If you have LTM maps and have updated you should see this.
If you click on RR Crossings you can vary the distance and several other options.
If you have visual set up, you will get a yellow/orange warning at the bottom of the map screen.
As far as a sound other than a voice, it has been send up to RM to consider as a feature.
Thanks,
Markdouble yellow and Corkyf62 Thank this. -
You obviously don't pull Hazmat very much. Certain Hazmat's are allowed in tunnels while others aren't.
that question is very useful (although you should still follow signs and not the GPS)
-
Thats for low ground clearance railroad tracks. Not all railroad tracks.
-
There is a Low Clearance and a RR crossing.

Mine only says low ground clearance rr tacks. Ive only heard it tell me when im near an obvious high rr crossing. And I do have it turned on. Ill take a pic and post it tomorrow if I remember.
-
These are POI's you can get from the POI-Factory.
-
You are correct, I don't haul haz-mat that often. I can see that this question is very important as to what type for an OTR driver going through tunnels etc. Running LTL locally I don't have to deal with tunnels. I just want that audio alert just in case. I'm pretty good at stopping at a crossing but the one time I forget looking for which driveway to turn in etc. there will be cop sitting somewhere.
-
Mine does not have this. If you touch My Custom POI's, its blank. I try to keep it updated at least once a week.
