When I stopped in to make the swap, the truck was in a service bay with pieces of the engine laying everywhere. So I just took mine out and didn't want to bother you guys with trying to get the stock mattress back in. So I'm double stacked in here. Talk about a pillow top!
Unfortunately the rest of today is blown. I DID come to Petro Ontario to get a flat drive tire repaired, but since the wait is just as long (5 hrs), I'm also getting a PM done. Good thing this trip has plenty of wiggle room!

If it's not one thing, it's another with you KF.
Got loaded yesterday morning, strapped down, and made it to the Petro in Spokane. Getting ready to head out now, should be home by 1300. I'll deliver this load first thing Monday morning and then off until Tuesday. I don't like broken home time, another reason I'm going back to the quads. Never once, did I have that issue.
Anyways, be safe all and have a great weekend.QuietStorm and jomar68 Thank this. -
Man, it really DOES always seem to be something!
A flat drive on Friday, a flat trlr today. And today's was in Shoshoni, WY, middle of nowhere's-ville! When the tire guy from Riverton showed up, we couldn't find the source of the leak. So he put on a new valve stem. I hope that was the culprit!
Now I'm at the shipper in Lovell, waiting to get a pallet moved cuz I'm 500# trailer heavy. Why don't these forklift drivers ever listen to us? I told him where load center was... Burning daylight and the 14hr clock, in God's country!
I think tonight will be a good opportunity to split log. I don't want to waste ALL of tomorrow...

Why don't these flatbed drivers check their load gauges. I've never gone back to get a load reworked, but i have spent some time arguing with shippers about where to put it lol.

This is one of those shippers that wont let you out of the truck while you're in the loading bay. So I had to trust that he was following my directions. So I checked the cab gauge & it was close. But they're air pressure gauges, and not superbly accurate, anyhow... So I could only check the trlr after I exited the warehouse and it was also close to the limit. (It's 48k# load) Only knew exacts after scaling, and then had to get back in line.
And after taking care of that issue, I fought my #### straps, v-boards and tarps in the 30mph breeze for the next 2 hrs. So today is done. Parking here for 8 and praying tomorrow is a better day!Weeble Kneeble Thanks this. -
Sitting here in Dunnigan waiting to start my day. Delivered Monday morning in Sandy and on my way home, received my next load. It picked up in Drain, OR going down to Chinese Camp, CA for this morning so that will give me a mileage bonus this month. So far, I'm also a 6.6 for my fuel mileage, so that's another bonus.
Should be headed towards the yard with my next load to switch back into a quad.
Be safe all.jomar68 Thanks this. -
Delivered yesterday in Chinese Camp, and after I was empty, I also picked up in Chinese Camp. I delivered that load this morning in Klamath Falls and I'm now waiting to get loaded in Medford. I'll hopefully get up to Madras before 7 and then swap into my quad tonight.
Be safe all. -
Was it Tuesday night you were there? I was also but didn't see you. Left out around 4 am though

Things have been pretty quite around here, Weeble must be up in Canada in a quad.
