Good thing you have EZ Pass for PA. That road is expensive. Lol! Last time I checked it was like $85 to go from MM 28 to Carlisle MM 226 with a heavy load which is a Class 7 vice $36 to run the whole OH turnpike as a Class 5.

I run the pa turnpike occasionaly from the ohio line to exit 350 ish (route 1) into trenton
costs me over $200 1 way. its a great road..just pricey as heck
years ago,i used to run 80 across to the northeast extension down to philadelphia......to save a few bucks
is that still called the northeast extension (Route 9)? -
You can get a combined 1. My pre pass is also my ezpass

I always wondered why I didnt see sni trucks on ohio and Indiana turn pike. Lol
what do they do put you guys on small state routes ?
thatv would suck if thats the case , because there are not as many places to stop , and park. -
You can run Indiana and Ohio toll roads all day if your bulk.

I run ohio pike just about everyday. I think maybe all dedicated accts might be authorized because I see plenty of Schneider trucks on Ohio pike.

In comparison to how many trucks are running US 30 you see very few Pumpkin trucks on the IN/OH turnpike.
One of the reasons SNI doesn't authorize that toll is a lot of drivers would run it even when it makes no sense to (think Luna, OH to Chicago - the extra miles running 75 north add more time than the stop lights on US 30).
If you're running from Chicago to Youngstown taking 30 adds 15 miles and less than a half hour. Two years ago when the smarmy engineering team did the math diesel would have to bewell over $5 a gallon for the toll road to be cost effective.
Not that I agree with their thinking on this one, just stating the reasons behind the policey. -
Also Pikepass for the tolls on the 44 in oklahoma/missouri. If I remember correctly (rarely used it) Kansas had it's own tollpass. Since breaking up with my co-driver I miss going through PA and eating at one of the roy rogers on the turnpike. Don't get me wrong, I'll take being in my own bed every night, but I still get that faint nostalgia for a few months ago. It usually passes when I remember how irritating it got driving team.
