    Anybody know anyone/any place where someone can get an Verizon S3 debricked.

    It's Hard Bricked.


    found a place online, but trying to avoid sending it someplace.

    Look on Craigslist...whatever town you are in you can typically find someone / place that can do that type work. They may even be mobile.

    A good place to see if you could fix it yourself would be XDA Developers. There are many threads for S3 bricks (depending on how bricked it is).

    I've seen a thread on XDA dealing with hard bricks that included jumping certain parts of the board in the phone. Definitely not for the faint of heart.

    Wanted to update.

    First I can't recommend the above mentioned Website, I emailed them twice with no response.
    Obviously I didn't use them then.

    There are a few people on eBay that do it.
    I went with a guy named mipick22

    So far so good, he says he got it fixed and put it in the mail today.

    If your wondering what I did in the meantime.
    We added a line and I'm using the New Phone on my line.
    Wife is getting the S3 when we get it back.
    I was also able to keep my Unlimited Data on VZW that way.

    I'll add another post once we get it back.
