Just putting my two cents in. Most of the time, there won't be that mom and pop around with that cheap fuel. Also ive noticed thag cheap fuel burns out way faster than some of the chains. In the long run you may have saved at the pump but you ran less miles on that tank

    jbizzle Thanks this.

.10 if you use peelot/fj. .05 rebate and .05 in points per gallon. And I use every dime of points. Not letting them get away with anything. As far as refunds go, I do everything I can to NOT get one. I will not be letting those idiots borrow and waste my earnings without interest.

Unloaded this morning at Lower Foods in Richmond, UT then picked up load at JBS in Hyrum, UT going to San Diego for monday morning

To my suprise the JBS load was ready 10 hrs early and really wanted my empty trailer because dispatch called me this morning and told me to drop it ASAP and load would be ready when get there.

Yes, $0.10 @ Flying J and Pilot. But as Loves is USUALLY a penny cheaper, it's the same @ $0.09.

I like the unlimited showers and refills. I figure on that alone I save more than I could were I to fuel for 20 cents less. It takes 50 gallons if its 20 cents cheaper to break even on a single extra shower. Last month I took 3 showers between fill ups one week. Plus multiple drink refills. I usually get 2 a day. Coffee in the morning and maybe a lemonade or tea when I take a break. Plus the points pay for my cleaning supplies with a bunch left over for whatever else I decide to spend them on.

If I recall correctly, unlimited showers/refills comes with gold (500 gallons). Anything over that is just an extra point per tier.

Yep. But at flying pilot, you dont have to earn a status to get that many points. You get .05/gal from the start. There are benes to both stops I guess. I just fuel randomly now based on price. If TA ever got it together and had some sort of multi-point earnings, I would be going there, too.

Took all day to get this pork off in McAllen. Ran out of hours. Leaving their lot now to get a washout and load in the San Antonio area for a Tuesday El Monte CA delivery.

Been running I10 at night and QC says 7.7mpg. Lack of wind and only 26k in the box.
